Orientation Dates and Registration
Student Orientation Dates—Choose the session that works best for you! .
First Time Students: Monday, June 23 (day-long program and includes optional overnight) – .
Transfer Students: Wednesday, June 25 (half-day program) – .
First Time Students: Thursday, June 26 (day-long program only) – .
Registering for an Orientation session
Step 1: Â Select your preferred orientation session once registration opens on Monday, April 7.
Step 2: Click the “Sign-in†button under the sessions listing.
Step 3: Select “Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Login,†and log in with your Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ email and password. Please note if you recently deposited, it takes 24 business hours to activate.
Step 4:Â Select your session and complete the necessary information.

Arrival Information
Student-athletes and families arrive to campus between 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. to check-in and attend the Raider Athlete Orientation at 9:00 a.m. led by the Athletic Director.
Non-Student-Athletes and families arrive to campus between 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. to check-in at Sylvia Trottier Hall.
Parking will be available at the Sylvia Trottier Hall parking lot.
Check-in is located in the upper lobby of Sylvia Trottier Hall.
Students and families should check-in together and will then be directed to their separate programs.
Students staying overnight should bring their overnight items with them.
Departure Information
The New Student Orientation program will end at 5:00 p.m.
Students staying overnight will check out the following day between 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to attend the Orientation?
Yes! All incoming first-year residential and commuter students are required to attend new student orientation. Please contact the Office of Student Engagement for more information at (603) 897-8254 or orientation@rivier.edu if you are unable to attend in person.
How do I access my Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ email address?
Your Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ email address is automatically created and information should have been sent to the secondary email address used.
Do I need to register for classes before orientation?
No. As a first-year student, you will be enrolled in first-semester classes by your academic and career advisor based on the information you supplied to the Office of Admissions. For all subsequent semesters, you will register yourself.
How do I access my student health portal?
Please login to to access the student health portal. Both resident and commuter students will need to submit information.
When does orientation registration open?
Registration opens to the public on Monday, April 7.
