麻豆视频 welcomes author Ana Hebra Flaster for book signing
麻豆视频 is pleased to host Ana Hebra Flaster, author and member of the institution鈥檚 Board of Trustees, for a book signing as she presents her new memoir, Property of the Revolution.
The book signing is scheduled for Monday, May 5 at 1 p.m. at the University鈥檚 Regina Library. Ana will also lead a discussion and take audience questions.
The historical narrative captures her family鈥檚 transformation from pro-Castro revolutionaries in a vibrant Havana barrio to refugees seeking a new life in the New Hampshire mill town of Nashua. Flaster鈥檚 memoir offers a personal exploration of loss, reinvention, and the immigrant experience.
Flaster has written extensively about Cuba and the Cuban American experience for major publications, including the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Boston Globe. Her powerful storytelling and commentaries have also been featured on National Public Radio and PBS鈥檚 鈥淪tories from the Stage鈥�, offering audiences a rich and immersive perspective on identity, belonging, and resilience.
